My child is a current 9th Grader, should they play Rec baseball or Legion?
- You may want to talk to the High School coach to discuss opportunities on the Legion team and if there will be a Junior Legion team - It is unlikely there will be a junior legion team for softball. We would recommend considering for both opportunities. Families that register for both can contact OYBSA for a coupon code for a discounted price.
My child is a current 8th Grader, should they play Rec baseball or Legion?

- Softball - Feel free to discuss opportunities that may exist on the legion team with the high school coach. It is likely that 8th Graders best opportunity for playing time will be in the rec league.
